Getting to the giant Buddha and the monastary is pretty easy, you just get on the MTR to Tung Chung (end station), from our hote The Mira we had to change trains one time – and all in all the trip took aprox 40 minutes. All super easy, you cant go wrong – there are signs and pictures of cablecars all over the metro and the end station.
I only went into these because of Maren, otherwise I would rather have walked for two days to get there. You hover above sea and rock ..I dont know.. 5000 meter above or something. It is terrifying!
YSky Land Sea… yeah, thats because when the cable breaks ang you go zooming towards the end-station from the SKY you will first hit LAND before the box rolls out into the SEA. 😀
I might look calm on the outside, but thats it. I was hoping to get a bit drunk before this trip – but I found no time.
A round trip will set you back 185 HKD, thats both up and down (the down part is maybe worse). For 255 HKD you get a…, wait for it…, GLASS floor ! haha! yeah – fuck no!
PS!
The trip is probably super cool and nice if you enjoy hights !
