Typhoon sunday

This seemed very strange to us. Everything closed because of a typhoon warning. Which they called of a few hours later. But it still took som time before our planned museums opened. 

This seemed very grave, but the weather was only peaceful rain.
Happily McDonalds is always open. Come hell or high water! And in Hong Kong they serve breakfast muffin all day. Hooray 🙂
Toy’s r us at LCX Harbour City is well worth a visit. As mention before, this shoppingmal is a bit crowded. But if you hurry, when it opens after a Thypoon warning, you can browse the isles.
They had a huge selection….it was fun just to look at all the toys.
I have loved Hello Kitty since I was a little girl. I have to admit I had to buy a few items here. For myself…
This was a beautiful glimpse of China and Hong Kong history. And it cost only 20 HKD. Well worth it. The gift shop had a good and wide selection of books related to the history of China and Hong Kong. Both fiction and non-fiction.
