Yum Cha, Dim Sum resturant in Tsim Sha Tsui

Yeah so I figured out now that even thoug we are staying in Kowloon, a more specific and right thing is to say Tsim Sha Tsui (SjimSjaSjui as we call it)  this is the area all the way at the end toward Victoria Harbour.

Anyways, we have been trying different foods around our hotell, and today we just traveled 100 meters to end up on the 3rd floor of a building right behind the hotell. The resturant is called Yum Cha and they have a few other shops in Hong Kong.

They are famous for theyr very nicley made steamed buns / dim sum. Picture above shows the steamed pig bbq bun – which is a favourite for us. But here, the bun looks nearly to nice to eat, but just nearly. They tasted fantastic in addition to look great. I thought it would be funny if the bbq sauce flowed trough their nose when you bit into the back of their head !! but it was only me that found it funny and the effect was not there.

Maren considering biting into it..

The resutrant had tons more, all looking good, but we only got to try a few this time. Guess we have to come back to this place and have a few more of those fancy buns.. There is some that are made to look like birds, and they get served in small cages. You do pay a bit more here than other places, but it is weel worth it. The food is very very good.

Cickenclubs with pineapple lollipop. Might be one of the best things tasted ever!
