Wat Arun, Bangkok

Temple of dawn is one of the must-see in Bangkok. I was pretty sure that it was a bit hyped, having seen a lot of temples lately… but I was wrong.

Mandalay

Mandalay has a lot to offer the tourist flow. Pagodas, a really cool Royal Palace and very fun shopping experience.
We heard that Mandalay Hill is well worth a visit, although we sadly didn’t make it there. The heat was getting the better of us midday, (over 40 c) and we had a really great rooftop pool.

View from Hotel Ybadababada, Mandalay

Or whatever it is called, its hard to even getting close to pronouncing the words correct – so we tend to just go phonetically.

This hotels real name was Hotel Yadanarbon, located pretty much in the middle of everything. Prices are in general very low, so I opted for the suite with a veranda, the only time I even opened the door to this veranda, was to take this picture. It was a long way down, and I did not trust it.
