Lots of places sell beer in Hoi An, the selection is pretty good – We have pretty much been trough the list at “Tap House”, situated in the middle of the tourist area.
Microbreweries are few, but I got high hopes when I found Hoi An Brewing Company on google maps. It actually looks as if they have brewing equipment here!

That’s about 1km / 10-15 minute walk from town.. down town.. tourist area – whatever you wanna call it.
The guy running it had just started, been in business just a few months. And was sttuggeling with a few brew tech issues related to faulty parts and things soon to arrive in the mail. But he had two Hoi An brewed beers on tap, only to be found as this spot – no other bars in town currently have any of his beer.
The belgian wit got a 4.75 on untapped – supernice beer! Well worth the walk, great place – and also great music. There where food here to, but we just came from dinner.
The brewer at Hoi An Brewing Company, we think his name was Ryan !(?) 😀
Besides his own beers, he also had a good selection of other vietnam breweries.
