Wat Arun, Bangkok

Temple of dawn is one of the must-see in Bangkok. I was pretty sure that it was a bit hyped, having seen a lot of temples lately… but I was wrong.

Getting a Grab to bring us there early morning (08:00), you cant help seeing all the “our king is great” posters and statues..banners.. they really love their king here.

Anyways, we arrived 10 minutes after they opened and that’s probably the best time to be there – it gets crowded here fast.

The temple is from the 1700 something-something and is beautifully decorated, a truly magnificent sight.

We walked around for an hour or so, looking at all the details, taking pics. The area is not that big, but it do contain quite a few nice photo opportunities.

As with everything, its ‘exit trough the giftshop’ 🙂

And some words of advice

haha,, rules rules rules 🙂
