A graveyard from 1804, implemented by Napoleon. Known for lots of its inhabitants, but probably most of all Jim Morrison.
A weird thing to visit maybe, but it is a ‘thing’ for sure.. we got here fairly early in the morning, a -of all things- sunny morning! (Finally!). And walking up to the grave of Jim Morrison probably felt different without the hordes of tourists coming here during peak season.

We got it of someone on YouTube – it was a good recommendation 👍👍 Really great little spot for some French breakfast options..
And the headed overr to the park, Champ de Mars, where the Eiffel tower stands… Raining, again… Not to bad – but still..
330 meter high… You get a more feel of the size of it when you get close, and se people walking up n down.

And – as luck again would have it, so close to our hotell that we could walk over in a short time

There is no point in traveling around Belgium, switching hotels and towns.. everything is just an hour away by train.
Today we decided on going to Bruges, the rain has been following us for several days – but we had hope for some det weather at least, maybe even to see the sun according to yr.no..
Bruges was a completely different place than Brussels. It was borderline over-idyllic, and there was no construction anywhere. (Brussels is just a construction site where people have decided to live)

But this posed little to no problem – since our hotel is in walking distance to Cantillon Brewery, and a wash is pretty much as long as a tour and some tasteers.
The Brewery is located just of one of the main streets close to Midi station, and there is nothing that really gives you an idea that there is a close to 125 year old Brewery here. Even outside, no one there – tons of ppl on the inside though.
